I am a photographer living
in Northeast Ohio with my wife of many happy years. My commercial
photography career began in the mid '80s freelancing in corporate communications. My
work took me to many fascinating parts of the country. I now work
for Cleveland's CW, WBNX-TV as an editor/photographer in the Production
Department.
No matter the setting, I love spending time photographing
images of natural beauty. My admiration for the ocean and all of
its coastal beauty began during my tenure of duty with the United States
Coast Guard, where I served 3 1/2 years on Execution Rock's Light House
in Long Island Sound. As a lighthouse keeper, one develops a deep
respect for both the awesome power and beauty of the ocean, as well as
the calm and serenity of the foggy, still nights. Lighthouses are
one of my favorite objects to shoot.
The quest to capture these images on film, and as much
as possible convey their sense of beauty, grace and emotion for others
to have, enjoy and be moved by, is unrelenting. I hope you enjoy
this website. Stop back soon to see what's new.
